About Surrey and Kent Flying Club

Aircraft in flight
Surrey and Kent Flying Club is one of the oldest flying training establishments in the South of England having operated from Redhill and Croydon Aerodromes before moving to Biggin Hill in 1959. During that time we have been responsible for the PPL training of many hundreds of pilots. Many of our 'old boys' (and girls for that matter) fly with most of the major UK airlines.

We operate a fleet of training and touring aircraft including four Piper Warriors and a Piper Arrow. All aircraft are equipped with radio navigation equipment to enable the full use of the facilities at Biggin Hill.
Our operating hours are 09:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 20:00 at weekends. We have full time staff on hand at all times. There are two resident Civil Aviation Authority Examiners to conduct Flight Tests and Ground Examinations - so booking for these presents no problems.

If you would like further information about Surrey And Kent Flying Club, the Private Pilots Licence or hiring aircraft, please do not hesitate to give us a ring or drop us an e-mail. If you are in the area you could call in for a coffee and a chat with one of our experienced members of staff.
